VW Tiguan Specs
The new VW Tiguan comes standard with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that puts out 184 horsepower and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city/27 highway MPG. Front-wheel drive is standard, or you can upgrade to all-wheel drive for better road grip and control. The ride quality is always smooth and comfortable, even over uneven road and bumpy conditions.
VW Tiguan Interior
The VW Tiguan offers two different seating configurations, so you can get the space you need. 2-row models seat five, while 3-row models seat seven. Cloth upholstery is standard, although for extra luxury, you can opt for leatherette or genuine leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. In the front row, there’s 39.6 inches of headroom and 40.2 inches of legroom. In the second row, you’ll find headroom measuring 39.1 inches and legroom of 36.5 inches. The 3-row model of the Tiguan has 12 ft3 of cargo space with all seven seats in use. Fold down the third row, and you’ll have 33 ft3, or fold down both the second and third rows and access a total of 65.7 ft3. The 2-row model has 37.6 ft3 of space with all five seats in use, or you can fold down the rear seat to access 73.5 ft3 of cargo capacity. Both these models’ measurements are large for the class, and for extra convenience, you can add a power liftgate or hands-free power liftgate.
